We are a pre-school nursery, catering for children from 2-5 years of age and offer a wide opportunity for the children to combine fun with learning. We offer a warm and loving place for all the children, giving them a secure foundation for their next stage of learning.

Our aim and goal here at Wem Playmates Nursery is to provide a happy, comfortable and secure place for children in our care so that they feel relaxed in the way they express themselves, to reach their full potential and build on their own character. With this approach, we hope children will enjoy their Early Years times at Wem Playmates Nursery. All of our staff have many years experience and hold CRB disclosures and NVQ qualifications in childcare and believe in giving children the best start in life and do all they can to make that possible.

Wem Playmates are a Committee run organisation, members of whom are parents and they hold regular meetings to discuss the running of the group and other relevant issues. Wem Playmates are a non-profit making nursery, but we do need to cover the cost of wages, craft materials, equipment and so forth, from the fees we charge.
